High-Intensity Interval Training 

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) involves bursts of intense exercise and workouts with short breaks in between the intense bursts. This intense workout burst is usually 10-20 minutes long with brief intervals before the next burst. All you have to do is decide on any type of exercise like running, cycling, or jumping, and then do it intensely for 30 seconds following a period to rest for 1-2 minutes. Continue this cycle for 10-20 minutes. 

HIIT is a highly effective way to reduce weight as it involves the benefits of both, cardio exercises as well as of resistance exercises. It is a very effective as well as a fast way to burn fat and strengthen and tone muscles. Moreover, it helps reduce waist with great effect. In short high-intensity interval training provides almost the same effect but with half the time than that required by cardio and resistance training.
